Fall colors are just starting to show in the lower elevations of Carter County and around Elizabethton. Soon this barn will be surrounded by reds, golds and oranges as colors to really start popping in the next seven to ten days.
Just as the cooler temperatures bring on the change of colors in trees, it also seems to bring out those who enjoy the coolness to play and take in the changes throughout the local neighborhoods.
Children out jumping on trampolines, folks decorating for Halloween, and others just taking time to wet a line and enjoy an ebbing stream are just some of the sights one might find while driving around the roads that lead through Carter County.
Larry Souders, a Star Photographer, captured some great images this week while out and about.
