Joanne Ames enjoys a stroll with three Shelties near Hunter Elementary. All three are rescues and Kate (front) and Kyle (back) are 12 years old and certified therapy dogs. Kurt, standing by Joanne, is only three but is in training to also be a therapy dog. Joanne says they all use to make weekly visits to see the students at Hunter prior to the CoVid-19 outbreak and that she and her dogs really miss the visits.
