Holt said that Elizabethton High School appreciates the community’s longstanding commitment to and support of Cyclone athletics.
After returning with the state championship, Holt and the athletic department was hoping to present the opportunity for everyone in the community to have an opportunity to secure a season ticket.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a situation not only for Elizabethton but for every athletic department nationwide on how to proceed with sports during this unprecedented time.
The good news for all current season ticket holders is that they will not lose their tickets moving forward.
“After the 2020 season, we hope that our situation has improved, and we can return to full capacity and your previous season ticket seats,” Holt stated. “I want to reassure you that this is a one-season solution to our current situation.”
There is also great news for those who will be unable to buy a season pass or attend games due to health concerns as a subscription to the NFHS Network can be obtained for one year at a cost of $69.99.
The network will be live streaming events that take place in a gym or a football stadium including football, volleyball, soccer, and wrestling.
Elizabethton’s athletic department will receive a portion of the proceeds for every membership sold.
Season tickets will go on sale at Citizens Bank Stadium in the home ticket booth beginning on Monday, August 10th from 9 am to 3 pm.
More information on the NFHS Network memberships will be provided shortly on the school’s website.
