One of the greatest resources that we are blessed to have in Carter County is our fisheries.
With that being said, Elizabethton Star Sports is excited to showcase some of the great catches and our fishermen who are having great success on local small streams, rivers, and Watauga Lake.
While fishing hasn’t been the best as of late, some anglers continued to pull a few into the boat over the last week.
It’s not time to stop fishing, however, as everyone knows the waters are full of fish – it’s just a matter of finding the right bait to get them to hit!
Heading into August hopefully the fish will be hungry and fishermen will stay pumped to hit the water.
