In a symbolic fashion, a single craggily branch seemingly grips the stars in the American flag that waves over Elizabethton. The blue color represents vigilance and justice which has been challenged over the last couple of months in the U.S., but the red and white that represents valor and purity wave on.
After a full weekend of celebrating the Fourth of July, area residents returned back to normal daily activities with the start of a new week.
For some, it was heading back to work and for others, it was enjoying the beauty that surrounds Elizabethton from a bloom on a flower to one of God’s creatures enjoying their daily meal.
Star Photographer Brandon Hyde took the time to pass through the downtown area to capture some amazing photos.
