Donna Kay Davis, 55, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away at home on Thursday, May 14, 2020, after battling an extensive illness. Donna was born in Elizabethton to Packy Raymond Fair and Darrell Ann Campbell Fair of Elizabethton. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jaxon Bradley Curl, her maternal grandparents, and her paternal grandparents.
Donna had worked as an LPN and was an outspoken, outgoing, loving, stubborn and fun lady, although some would say a bit crazy. She graduated with honors in her LPN Class at Tennessee Technology of Elizabethton and was inducted into the Carter County Sports Hall of Fame for her exceptional basketball skills. She had worked as an LPN at various healthcare facilities, the most recent was Hillview Health Center in 2012.
Donna enjoyed crocheting, cooking and taking care of “the babies.” She loved her grandchildren and spoiled them endlessly. She loved thrift stores and yard sales, flowers, gardening and taking care of her houseplants.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Tiffanie Curl (Billy) and Kayla Babb (Christie); her parents, Packy and Darrell Fair; her grandchildren, Kaylee Buckles, Natalie Buckles, Austin Osborne and Trentin Lewis; one brother, Steve Fair (Pam Higgins); and her boyfriend, Patrick Riley.
The family would like to thank the Carter County EMS and Bennie Colbaugh for their dedication and the skill they displayed while caring for Donna. Online condolences may be shared with the family on our website, www.tetrickfuneralhome.com
