Alexios “Axel” Kaiden Whitehead, infant son of Adin Hensley and Kerri Lynn Whitehead of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Axel was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Ricky Campbell.
Axel is survived by his mother, Kerri Lynn Whitehead of Elizabethton; his father, Adin Hensley of Gray; his paternal grandparents, Travis Baugh and wife Janeen of Gray; his maternal grandfather, Wayne Gordon Whitehead III and wife Bridgett of Johnson City; his maternal grandmother, Lynnette Whitehead of Elizabethton; a half-brother, Adrian Hensley of Elizabethton; his aunt, Tenaia Woolwine of Elizabethton; three uncles, Macon Barden of Elizabethton, Ian Hensley and Dakota Hensley, both of Johnson City; his maternal great-grandmother, Penny Campbell of Elizabethton; and his maternal great-grandmother, Jennifer Shell, also of Elizabethton.
A graveside service to celebrate Axel’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 15, in the Cothran (Fairview) Cemetery.
