McWherter – Henegar

Kim Whitehead McWherter and Dennis Henegar were married March 21, 2020, at Sinking Creek Baptist Church in Johnson City with the Rev. Jeremy Clark officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the late Bob and Pat Whitehead and the granddaughter of the late Carson and Eliza Whitehead and Silas and Elva Clark.
Kim graduated from Happy Valley High School in 1982 and is currently employed with the Carter County Sheriff’s Department.
The groom is the son of Dennis and Georgia Henegar and the grandson of the late George and Annie Presnell and Lee and Viola Henegar.
Dennis is a 1983 graduate of Happy Valley High School and is currently employed at Modern Forge.
The matron of honor was Robin Taylor, sister of the bride, and the best man was Nathanael Henegar, son of the groom. The ring bearer was Silas Clark and the ushers were Alan Taylor, brother-in-law of the bride, and Wesley Taylor, nephew of the bride.
Following a reception in the church family life center, the couple left for a honeymoon trip to Pigeon Forge.
