COVID-19 cases in Tennessee tops 8,000

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Tennessee has now reached 8,266 as of April 23. There are now 4,193 recovered patients.
The number of deaths is now being listed as 170, with 793 hospitalizations.
A total of 123,100 tests have been conducted in the state as of now.
For Carter County, there have now been six confirmed cases. Three cases are recovered, and one has died.
During this time, it is highly recommended that you continue practicing proper hygiene, including hand washing for a minimum of 20 seconds, and follow social distancing guidelines.
