Lego competition, virtual competition for this week

Published 3:22 pm Monday, April 20, 2020

Elizabethton Parks and Recreation and the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library have teamed up to offer virtual contests through our Facebook pages to help keep our community engaged, active and imaginative while staying safe at home!
Beginning Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, participants are encouraged to build a replica of where they are spending quarantine. This can be their home, bedroom, or favorite space outdoors. They’re encouraged to include as many details as possible and everyone in their house can help to build it. A photo of the replica, which must include at least one of the builders, should be uploaded to the Parks and Recreation’s Facebook page no later than noon on Friday, April 24.
Winners will be chosen on Friday, April 24, and will be awarded a prize courtesy of the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library.
A new contest will be announced weekly!
