Wilma “Little Blaine” Jenkins

Wilma “Little Blaine” Jenkins, 92, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020, at Hermitage Health Center following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Nat Blaine and Flora Bowers Jenkins.
Little Blaine was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a homemaker. Little Blaine was a member of Valley Forge Christian Church where she sang in the Adult Choir. She enjoyed playing the piano, mowing her yard and playing Bingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Jenkins, and three sisters, Hildred Chambers, Ruby Buckles and Eulee Stevens.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy (Kathy) Jenkins and David (Cindy) Jenkins; four grandsons, Thomas (Nikki) Jenkins, Jake (Tiffany) Jenkins, David Lynn Jenkins and Nathan (Savanah) Jenkins, all of Elizabethton; three precious great-granddaughters, Kinlee, Maddie Jane and Riley Jenkins; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends, her roommate, Judy Bowers and family, Betty Jo Greene and neighbor Carol Hartford.
Private graveside services will be conducted in the Chambers Cemetery with Mr. David Siebenaler, minister, officiating. Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Hermitage Health Center and the staff of Caris Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Little Blaine to the Valley Forge Christian Church, 114 VFCC Road, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
