Mrs. Brenda Arnold’s 4th grade ELA class at Little Milligan Elementary School would like to give a huge shout out of appreciation to the Appalachian Literacy Initiative for the generous gift of books this school year. The literacy grant allowed the students to select from a variety of genres and receive a book free of charge several times throughout the school year. The student orders were placed for the March distribution, and those books will be delivered to every student. Also, the students will be able to choose their book from the April selections and get that book as well. We want to thank the Appalachian Literacy Initiative from the bottom of our hearts for caring about our students and their literacy opportunities.
