Conley Miller

Conley Miller, 79, Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at the Waters of Roan Highlands, Roan Mountain, after an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Wiley and Pearl Simerly Miller.
Conley served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was retired due to disability from the City of Johnson City.
Conley was a member and Deacon of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church, Hampton. He loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, J.B., Lee, Earl, Don, Dalton, Thurman and Kail.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia “Pat” Tolley Miller; his daughter and son-in-law, Ginger Kay and Hobert Wilson; two grandchildren, Josh (Misty) Branch and Matthew; two great-grandchildren, Malachi and Jada; one step-granddaughter, Deandrea Wilson; two sisters, Mable Stepp, Hampton, and Barbara Novack of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thanks” to the staff at The Waters of Roan Highlands for the excellent care he received during his stay there. Friends may register their presence at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday or at the residence anytime.
