First United Methodist
The pastor, the Rev. Raymond Amos, Sr., will present the message “Bring Them to Jesus” at the morning worship service Sunday at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. The service is at 9:55 a.m., and the scripture for message is John 1: 35-42.
Following the service, Sunday School is at 11:20 a.m.
The Sunday evening service as well as children’s choir is at 6 p.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m. and the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Both groups will meet in the 4:12 Ministries House.
Wednesday Life Lessons will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Also, the Coolagers will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

First Christian
The message Sunday morning at First Christian Church, Elizabethton, is based on the cost of following Jesus. “We all want the blessings, but what about the cost?” asks Minister Michael Klaus, who will discuss the treasures and the cost of following Christ at the 9:45 a.m. service.
Leslie Brockley will present special music and Janie Broyles will lead the music for the morning service.
Wednesday evening, the study will center on the Torah, with a multi-generational study with a catered meal.

Oakland Avenue
Oakland Avenue Baptist Church, Johnson City, will have a gospel singing Wednesday, March 13, at 6 p.m.
Featured will be the Rochesters and The Zion Ramblers from the bluegrass program at ETSU.
There is no admission and all are welcome.
The pastor is Roy Yelton.

Grace Baptist
A spring Bible conference will be held at Grace Baptist Church March 28 and 29.
The March 28 schedule includes a Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and a conference service at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday services will include conferences at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The theme of the Bible Conference is “Conflict: An Opportunity for Grace” featuring Dr. Larry Purcell as guest speaker.
Dr. Purcell serves as a consultant for the Kentucky Baptist Convention and has served as pastor and interim pastor in several churches since 1981.
The Rev. Travis Tyler is pastor at Grace Baptist.
Fork Mountain
The Jones Family from Mountain City will present special singing Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Fork Mountain Free Will Baptist Church, Roan Mountain.
The singers are the grandchildren of the Rev. Richard Shepard.
Everyone is invited to attend.

Roan Street Free Will
The Rev. Wayne Carr will preach Sunday for both the morning and evening service at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church.
Joshua Farley will preach at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 15.

First Free Will
Greg Patten will be special guest speaker Sunday at First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton. He will speak at both the 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services.
Patter, a former news anchorman for one of NBC’s most watched news affiliates and once one of the country’s top DJs, now pastors and presents the news from a conservative Christian point of view.
The Rev. Nathan Jennings is pastor.
First Free Will is located at 706 First St.
First Presbyterian
Dr. William Kirkwood, Associate Vice President for Student Life and Enrichment at ETSU, will speak at the 11 a.m. service Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. The theme of his message is “Blessings.” Scripture is from Psalms 131. Other readings include verses two and three of the hymn “Fairest Lord Jesus.”
An Education Hour is at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus Book Club from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday; Exercise Class,Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga, Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 W. F St.
