Carter County Farm Bureau elects new county president

COLUMBIA — The Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation held their second annual New County Presidents Training, where Michael Nidiffer attended to learn more about the Farm Bureau structure and what to expect in his new role as county president. While at the training, Nidiffer received his county president pin, recognizing him as the leader of Carter County Farm Bureau and one of the 95 leaders across the state who serve in the vital role of county president.
“We congratulate Michael on his new appointment as president and appreciate his willingness to step up and serve his county,” said Tennessee Farm Bureau President Jeff Aiken. “We feel confident in Michael’s ability to lead Carter County Farm Bureau well.”
Tennessee Farm Bureau is the largest Farm Bureau in the nation with a membership of more than 675,000. The goal of the organization is to develop, foster, promote and protect programs for the general welfare, including economic, social, educational and political well-being of farm people of the great state of Tennessee.
