Timothy K. Stover

Timothy K. Stover, 69, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born on March 7, 1950 to Conley Kyle and Lorraine Snead Stover. He was preceded in death by his step-son, who he thought of as his own, James R. Williams, on January 29, 2020.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife and soul mate of 38 years, Virginia Peters Stover; daughters, Nikki Thomas (Fred), and Joni Day (Russell); sons, Kevin and Kelvin Stover; special grandchildren, Jacob and Kimberly Day, who helped during his illness; his brother, Larry Stover; grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Mark, Dustin, Brandon, Kyle and Summer Stover, Heather Spray and Allison Eastridge; a niece, Melodie Stover; several great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law and four sisters-in-law, Maynard and Sharon Peters, Etta Carden, Linda and Juanita Peters.
The family would like to send out a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice, especially Megan Renfro, Gail Miller, Emily White and Jerry Brown, who went above and beyond for Tim and his family.
It was Timothy’s wish for his body to be donated to Restore Life USA.
Memorial services for Tim Stover and James Williams will be held Saturday, February 8, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Ministries in Elizabethton. Tim Chambers and Shannon Sims will be officiating the services.
