Eva Holder Estep

Eva Holder Estep, 94, of Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 10, 2020, at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late N.R. and Dora Holder.
Eva previously was employed at Magnavox and retired from Texas Instruments. She was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church but attended Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church. Eva was an avid reader, loved working in her flowers and garden and working puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shade Estep, who passed away April 8, 1992; four brothers, Deward Holder, Daniel Holder, Conley Holder and Hoover Holder; and three sisters, Blanche Holder, Oma Richardson and Sylvia Bradley.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Estep, of the home, and Donna Estep Livingston, Elizabethton; two sisters, Lois Edmison, Kernersville, N.C., and Shirley Richardson and brother-in-law, Ronda Richardson, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and one brother, Lloyd Holder, Rolling Hills Estates, Calif. Several nieces and nephews also survive, all of whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 14, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tim Gouge officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be her church family. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Dr. Ryan Hackett and Staff. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
