Eddie and Joyce (Whitehead) Largent of Roan Mountain celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 27, 2019.

They were married in the back of Ray Burrow’s store in 1969, just a week before Eddie was deployed with the U.S. Army.

The couple have made their home in Roan Mountain, where they raised their girls, Karen, Kayla and Atlanta, and their grandson, Gabe.
