Pearl Dugger Edwards

Pearl Dugger Edwards, 83, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Dora Hurley Dugger.
Pearl was a retired beautician. She was a member of Johnson City Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ben Ray Edwards; her children, Keith Ray Edwards, Tony Wayne Edwards and wife Gayle, Timothy Brian Edwards and wife Sharon, and Jeffery Todd Edwards and wife Sandy; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday, January 12, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ernest Garland and the Rev. Mark Street officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, will be Keith, Tony, Tim, Jeff and Logan Edwards and Brandon Parlier. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Judy and Victor Deloach and the staff of Ivy Hall Nursing Home and the staff of Sycamore Shoals Hospital ICU. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday.
