PAL, a new support group for adults with loved ones battling addiction to drugs/alcohol, will meet at 11 a.m. at the Carter County Drug Prevention Coalition, 546 East Elk Ave., Elizabethton. The Jericho Shrine Center will host a New Year’s Eve Dance from 7 p.m. til midnight. Cost is $20 per Shriner at the door; $25 per person non-Shriner; $50 per couple. Finger foods appreciated: 7-9 p.m. Dance will be at 9 p.m. Music will be provided by Shooter Band. Tickets are also available at the office or from Divan members. Shriners and Shriner’s guest only.
