Richard Tyler Pearce, 82, Elizabethton, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at the Hillview Health Center following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Harvey & Delia Campbell Pearce. Mr. Pearce served in the United States Air Force. He was a Homebuilder. He was a man of faith loved his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Rick Pearce, one sister: Betty Thompson and two brothers: Kenneth & Charles Pearce. He was a member of Hunter First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years: June Carver Pearce. Two daughters: Deborah Jestes and Barbara Blevins, both of Elizabethton, one son: Mark Pearce & wife Diane, Johnson City. His grandchildren: Darkus Bowers, Jameila Davis, Richard Pearce, Christy Osborne, Matt Pearce, Nichole Webb and Jonathan Pearce. Several Great Grandchildren.  A brother: William Pearce, Johnson City. Several nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2019, in Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at his residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:45 p.m. Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
