Hampton 1960 state champs recognized

The members of the 1960 Hampton Bulldog State Championship team were honored between the boy and girls game last night. A plaque honoring their accomplishment and one of the Vanderbilt University jerseys they wore during the tournament run were presented to the school in recognition of their accomplishment.
Pictured, (from the left) are Hampton high school principal Jeff Bradley, Carter County Mayor Rusty Barnett and the surviving members of the team Glen Hayes, Larry Montgomery, Ray Greene, Carl Roberson, Wes Forbes, retired Bulldog head coach Jerry White, Bobby Stout (seated) and Willie Malone.
