Velma Sue Coleman, 131 Brimer Road, Elizabethton, celebrated her 81st birthday on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019.

Velma is the mother of Hubert Coleman, Christine Largent, Brenda Oliver, James Coleman, Shelia Burns and Kathy Brumitt.

She has three grandchildren, Anthony Oliver, Brook Burns and Kevin Daniel Burns.

She has two sisters, Joyce Williams and Hazel Smith, Elizabethton.

She is the daughter of the late Opie and Florence Brumitt.

Velma celebrated the special occasion with family and friends.
