Sycamore Shoals State Park will hold a Traditional Arts Workshop: Basketry Techniques – Reed Star on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. til noon. Instructor is Jane Doan. Cost is $25 with most materials provided. Please bring alligator clips or small clothes pins and a small towel. Decorate with stars made from basket reed. Variety of colors or natural reed to choose from. Create three different sized stars: 8”, 10”, 12”.
