First Christian Church serves as a collection point for shoeboxes collected in the Elizabethton area.
Shoeboxes can be dropped today from 4 to 7 p.m.; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.; and Monday from 9 to 11 a.m.
Operation Christmas Child is celebrating 25 years of giving shoebox gifts to children around the world. The group has helped 167 million children with gift-filled shoeboxes over the past 25 years.
