The U.S. House of Representatives controlled by Democrats voted to do an impeachment investigation into President Trump in response to his asking the president of Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden, the son of Vice President Biden. The U.S. House of Representatives has talked of impeaching Trump from his first day in office. Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election by helping the truth about Hillary Clinton come out. President Obama could have done more to stop it. Trump had no power to stop the Russian meddling but was investigated for 22 months to find something to use against him. It was found to be a Trump-Russia collusion fairy tale conspiracy theory created by the globalist liberal left media and the Democrats to attack Trump. Obama allowed Russians to interfere with the election then blamed it on Trump.
Vice President Biden is on video saying he threatened to withhold loans unless they stop investigating his son’s company in Ukraine. Ukraine did stop investigating his son, Hunter Biden and his company, Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, where Hunter Biden served on the board, bringing in $50,000 per month with no knowledge of natural gas. They are trying to impeach Trump, but Biden is the one that committed the actual crime.
The U.S. Constitution gives the president control over foreign affairs. A treaty from 2000 between Ukraine and the United States requires the two countries to cooperate on law enforcement matters, a factor that may explain why President Trump questioned the involvement of Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, in Ukrainian affairs, during a telephone conversation with the Ukrainian President. Trump did the right thing because the American and Ukrainian governments are legally required by treaty to render mutual legal assistance in criminal matters. Department of Justice lawyers who reviewed the transcript of the telephone call issued a legal opinion stating they couldn’t identify any violation of U.S. campaign finance laws during the conversation.
If the U.S. House of Representatives passes an impeachment resolution, it doesn’t mean the president is going to be turned out of office. It means they made a finding that there is credible evidence. The U.S. Senate’s job will be to decide how to dispose of the matter: Do nothing, plea bargain, censure, or conduct a trial. Two-thirds of the U.S. Senate are required to remove a president from office. This has never happened and with the Republicans having a majority in the U.S. Senate, Trump will not be removed. So why are the Democrats investigating Trump? They are using the investigation for distraction, resistance and harassment and looking for information to use against Trump. It’s an insurance policy to help them block Trump from filling another seat on the U.S. Supreme Court if any member of the court such as Ruth Ginsburg, age 83, or Stephen Breyer, age 81, dies. Democrats can argue that with President Trump under the cloud of impeachment he shouldn’t be allowed to nominate another U.S. Supreme Court Justice. It’s insane to impeach Trump with no evidence. Maybe it’s for doing too good of a job.
We live at a time when politicians are unwilling to put national interest above political ideology. Chuck Colson said, “Politics is nothing but an expression of culture. It’s not enough to win elections for political power alone can’t change how people live or change their values. It’s essential to change hearts and minds as well. And that starts, not in Washington but with our neighbors.” Christians will soon escape the evil and insanity of politics and this world because we serve a God who rules over the affairs of nations and everyone whether they know it or not. Even the names in the news reminds Christians, King Jesus is coming. The death of Congressman Elijah Cummings (Elijah Coming) reminds us the Bible says Elijah is coming. His funeral was the same day Kanya West released “Jesus is King.” The dead in Christ Jesus rise at the last Trump or at the trumpet (Trump & Pence) call of God. Will our faith become sight in the year 2020? Will we have 20/20 vision of Jesus?
