BRISTOL – This Friday, local favorites, Jeremy Ray Taylor and Chasing daVinci, all currently Nickelodeon performers, will be spending time with fans and giving back to the community at The Paramount in Bristol. The event is called Showtime and brings together the talents of the band and Jeremy while raising money for Theatre Bristol. Jeremy says, “I always like spending time with the folks back home. Getting to host this event at the Paramount and give back to theatre people is a real blessing for me. I have always admired people who perform theater! I myself, am scared to death of it!”

Jeremy and Chasing daVinci, formerly The Band J4 from Bluff City, have been collaborating for a long time. In fact, they have been lifelong friends. They couldn’t have been more surprised when they got calls within 24 hours of each other to work on the Nickelodeon network for different shows. “The crazy thing is, they were for different projects and Nickelodeon had no idea they were even friends. The connection wasn’t put together until they were already on their respective shows”, said Tracy, manager to the band and mom of Jeremy.

Jeremy’s show, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, is airing currently, and the band will be seen on America’s Most Musical Family series, airing on November 1st.

While Jeremy was filming in Vancouver, he found out that the crew was looking for new music for his show. He immediately called the band with the news. They had a song they had been working on for a long while that just wasn’t right yet. Jeremy added a few lines from the show and voila, a song was born! After submitting the song to the network, they actually chose to use it during the first episode.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring our careers around to this point. After working with each other for so long, being on the same network is kinda like coming full circle,” says Sophi of Chasing daVinci. “We can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us!” Jeddi says.

The event will be a fundraiser for Theatre Bristol, with a suggested donation of $5 or more per person at the door. Ticket holders will be entered into drawings for gift cards, merch, and special prizes!

Doors open at 6 pm with the event starting at 6:30 pm with live music, a recap of episodes 1&2 by Jeremy, followed by the screening of Episode 3 on Nickelodeon. After the show, Jeremy and the band will host a panel with an audience Q & A. The Emcee of the event will be Whitney from VIPSEEN Live.

Afterward, there will be a meet & greet for autographs and photos.
