The Avery County Middle School Vikings paid a visit to Goddard Field on Tuesday evening to take on the Jr. Rangers of Unaka.
Unaka just couldn’t figure out the Viking defense as a tight 14-12 game halfway through the middle of the second quarter got away from the Jr. Rangers in the third quarter as the Jr. Vikings took a 41-12 lead heading into the final quarter of play.
