The Twins have split their first two series and stand at 3-3 as of Monday. The Twins took two-of-three from the Rays but lost two-of-three in Kingsport over the weekend.

Speaking of the Mets (4-2), they boast catcher Andres Regnault who leads the league with ten runs batted in and had four hits and two RBI in the Mets 7-2 and 5-1 wins over ‘Betsy on Friday and Saturday.

Regnault also has two homers to his credit this season.

Twins righthander Prelander Berroa (0-0, 0.00 ERA) has only pitched 4.2 innings thus far in 2019 but he was dominant with seven strikeouts and three walks but has yet to surrender a hit.

Berroa pitched the Twins to a 3-2 opening night win over Bluefield on Webb’s walk-off double.

Royals lefthander Adan Frias has 1.13 ERA in two appearances over eight innings in which he has garnered two saves and has a league-best 12 strikeouts.

Burlington (4-2) leads the league in team pitching ERA at 2.60 after six games.

The Royals swept the Bristol Pirates in the opening series giving up just three total runs in the three games taking 15-1, 1-0, and 10-2 wins.

The Buccos have already been shut out twice and have a 1-5 mark in the first week.

Bristol has a team batting average of .149 with just 27 hits and eight RBI. The Pirates also rank last in pitching with a 5.16 earned run average.

Kingsport is atop the league in team hitting with a .299 average followed by Elizabethton at .267 but the power differential in home runs is 7-1. Burlington also has seven round-trippers to lead the lead with the Mets.

Bristol visits Northeast Community Credit Union ballpark Tuesday through Thursday this week so the Twins look primed to make a move in the division if they can take care of business against a struggling Pirates crew.
