Watts Dance Studio puts on annual dance recital

Saturday, May 18, was a special day for the students and staff of Watts Dance Studio as the group closed out another successful year by putting on their dance recital for family and friends at Milligan College’s Seeger Chapel.
There were two performances, an afternoon and evening session, as both were well attended.
A total of 36 dances were performed in the afternoon session including performances by the Senior Showcase Dancers, Teen Showcase Dancers, and Showcase Juniors.
The studio also recognized senior dancers who were performing their last recital. Those seniors included Malana Griffey, Hannah Grindstaff, Lakyn James, Emily Peters, Emie Seeley, Lauren Snodgrass, Audrey Stanton, Molly Tipton, and Mary Weddle.
Summer classes kicked off on June 10 with registration for the fall classes now being accepted as well.
