The excitement continues to build for Tuesday’s 2019 season-opening contest for the Elizabethton Twins who will be hosting the Bluefield Blue Jays at 6:30 pm.

Part of the festivities will center around the newly renovated clubhouse and the Elizabethton Twins want to open the doors to the public to come and take a tour of the $2.3 million investment which now makes it a world-class facility as the E-Twins prepare for all their home games.

According to a recent press release from the E-Twins, fans are invited to stop in between 10 am and 12 pm on Tuesday and tour the facility as part of an open-house event.

That’s just part of the excitement as at 6 pm the Elizabethton Twins will be celebrating their new partnership with Boyd Sports, LLC along with new additions (and naming rights) to the ballpark and their 2018 Appalachian League title.

The pre-game festivities will include appearances from Elizabethton Mayor Curt Alexander along with Elizabethton City Commissioners, representatives from Boyd Sports, LLC, the Minnesota Twins and Northeast Community Credit Union, along with Appalachian League President Dan Moushon.

The first pitch will take place at 6:30 pm.
