Lynda Sue Birchfield Crow

Lynda Sue Birchfield Crow, 69, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 3, 2019, at her residence. She was born May 22, 1949 in Butler to the late Allen Stacy and Della Strickland Birchfield.
Sue was a graduate of Johnson County High School where she played drums in the band. She was a former employee of Stateline Market for 17-1/2 years. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Fred Kennon Crow; two children, Melissa Jollie and husband David, Aiken, S.C., and Mark Crowe and wife Charmaine, Butler; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Rebekah and Joseph Jollie and Marcus Crowe; her siblings, Ivalee Stevens and husband Larry and Carolyn Bise and husband Charlie, all of Elizabethton, Jim Birchfield, Watauga, and Raymond Birchfield and wife Dossie, Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service for Lynda Sue Birchfield Crow will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 7, in the Walnut Mountain Cemetery, Roan Mountain, with the Rev. Harvey White officiating. Interment will follow the service. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday, will be Cody Stout, Collin Bise, George Robinson, Michael Kyte, Jim Birchfield and Dallas Hopkins. Honorary pallbearers will be friends, neighbors and previous customers of Stateline Market. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Sue to the Little Milligan Elementary School, 4226 Highway 321, Butler, TN 37640. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery.
