The Hampton Jr. Lady Bulldogs showed no fear in their opening first-round sectional contest against Ridgeview putting the bite down for a 33-21 victory.

With the win, the Jr. Lady Bulldogs will advance to Monday’s quarterfinal round against Mary Hughes at 4:30 pm with the game to be played at John Sevier in Kingsport.

Kenzie Ramey had a huge game for the Jr. Lady ‘Dogs ripping the nets to the tune of 15 points. Bre Davis played a big contributing role dumping in 9 points in the win.

Rylie McClain and Linsey Jenkins knocked down 4 points apiece to help Hampton earn advancement to the next round.

Chloe Watson closed out the scoring collecting 1-of-2 from the charity stripe for the Jr. Lady ‘Dogs.

Ryleigh Bacon led Ridgeview in the loss with 8 points with Maci Masters adding 5 points.
