Blue Springs Christian
Blue Springs Christian Church will present a live nativity Dec. 20 and 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church located on Blue Springs Road.
Motorists can drive by the nativity scene or park in the church parking lot and walk to the scene.
Live animals will be featured in the scene.
Also, refreshments will be served in the church fellowship hall, and the public is invited to stop and fellowship with church members and others.

CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. at Brick Christian Church.
The guest speaker is Rollin Ramsaran. Following the preaching and worship service, there will be a time of fellowship.

Willow Springs
The adult choir of Willow Springs Baptist Church will present the cantata “The First Noel” on Sunday at the morning service.
Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and the worship service is at 10:45 a.m. with the cantata at 11 a.m.
The choir is directed by Bobby Smith.
Dr. Kenneth Jordan, pastor, invites the public to come and celebrate the birth of Jesus with the congregation.

New Liberty
New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church will continue its month-long celebration of Christ’s birth Sunday as Laura Coleman, Joy Shoun, and Kennedy Morelock will provide Christmas music selections beginning at 11 a.m.
Following the special music a play entitled “J Is For Jesus” will be presented by the New Liberty Kids. Featured music will be by Andy and Monica Hardin and piano solos by Callie Hardin.
The Juniors and Teens will present a play entitled “The Chaos of Christmas” at 6 p.m. Sunday with snacks to follow in the fellowship hall.
The Rev. Nick Colbaugh, pastor, invites everyone to attend both of these Christmas activities.
New Liberty Church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road located near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Siam Baptist
The Siam Baptist Children’s Choir will present a musical, “The Christmas Express,” Sunday evening at 6 p.m.
The musical teaches that true joy can be found in our lives by putting Jesus first, Others second, and Ourselves last. The Christmas message is included in the musical along with encouragement for those who may be having a difficult time this Christmas season.
The pastor, the Rev. Ricky Lack, and the congregation invite the public to attend. A time of fellowship will follow the program.

Caldwell Springs
The adult and youth choirs of Caldwell Springs Baptist Church will present a Christmas program Dec. 23 at 11 a.m.
The congregation and the public are invited to “Come to the Manger” as the Magi search for the King.

First Free Will
The children of First Free Will Baptist Church will present a Christmas program Sunday at the 11 a.m. service.
The public is invited to attend.

Redeemer Lutheran
Redeemer Lutheran Church will host Advent services Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. and on Monday, Christmas Eve, at 11 p.m.
The church is located at 234 W. G St.

Grace Baptist
The Children’s Choir of Grace Baptist Church will present “Straight Outta Bethlehem” Sunday at the 6:30 p.m. worship service.
A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Everyone is invited.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach Sunday at morning worship. His sermon is titled “For Such A Time As This.” Scripture text is Esther 4: 1-17.
The service begins at 11 a.m. An Education Hour for all ages is at 9:45 a.m.
Also, on Monday, the church will have its first ever Christmas Vespers worship and music service at 7 p.m. The service will feature music from a wide variety of local talents including Frieda Winters (harp), Dr. Lisa Pattison (violin), Jim & Cheri Miller (dulcimer and guitar), Roddy Bird (organ), Nancy Jane Earnest (flute), John Gardner (drums), and the church chancel choir. It will be an evening of music and seasonal readings.
The Christmas Vespers service will replace the Christmas Eve service. For anyone wanting to share in a traditional Christmas Eve worship, they are invited to join with Covenant Presbyterian Church in Johnson City for their service at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 24.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday; Exercise Class Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.
