Nyoka Lee Ensor

Nyoka Lee Ensor, 73, of Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at her residence after an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Jady and Jane Blevins Ward.
Mrs. Ensor was a homemaker. She was a member of Moores Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ensor, May 7, 2003; two sons, Randy and Ricky Ensor; and a brother, Delmar Ward.
Survivors include her children, Ronnie Ensor and wife Lisa, David Ward, Linda Rutter and husband David, Noah Ensor and wife Jonda, James Ensor and Joshua Ensor, all of Elizabethton, and Daniel Ensor and wife Page, Franklin, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diana Carden and husband Lockett and Alice Hyatt; two brothers, James and J.D. Ward; several nieces and nephews; and her dog Bo.
Funeral services for Nyoka Lee Ensor will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 23, at Moores Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Blevins and the Rev. Ernest Garland officiating. Music will be provided by Ronnie Blevins and the church choir. The graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 24, in the Ensor Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday, will be Arthur Carden, Leonard Bowers, Buddy Ward, Eddie Presnell, Ronnie Blevins and Willie Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Lockett Carden, Jerry Carden, Marvin Estep, Billy James Caleb Rojek and her church family. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Avalon Hospice, especially Brooks and Robert. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Moores Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
