Kimberly Denise Rainbolt Taylor, 57, of Elizabethton, went to her eternal rest Friday morning, August 3, 2018, at her residence.
Kimberly was born and grew up in Elizabethton, Tenn. She was a 1978 graduate of Unaka High School where she was crowned Homecoming Queen in her senior year. She was a member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Tony Lee Taylor Sr., May 12, 2018; her father, Charles “Bud” Rainbolt; a brother, Dean Rainbolt; maternal grandparents, Henry and Juanita Johnson Howell; paternal grandparents, David and Ethel Clawson Rainbolt; and an aunt, Marie Oliver.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Donna Howell Lowry; step-son, Tony Lee (Jessica) Taylor Jr.; step-grandchildren, Makayla, Mason and Maddux Taylor; nephew, Elijah Rainbolt; niece, Skylar Butler and Asher Oliver; two very special nephews, Joshua Burrow and her little buddy Adreyan Burrow; and her two fur babies, Sasha and Munchie. Several aunts, uncles and cousins survive. She also had a number of dear friends; it would be impossible to name each in fear of omitting someone by mistake. She loved each one dearly.
Friends may call at her mother’s residence.
It was Kim’s wish to be cremated. There will be a Celebration of Life Service held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, those who choose may make a contribution in her memory to Lynn Valley Baptist Church Building Fund. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Taylor family.
