Wendell “Jim” Wilkey Stanton

Wendell “Jim” Wilkey Stanton, 77, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Wendell James Woods; a sister, Jane Price; a grandson, Steven Rupard; and a great-grandson, Christopher Jaden Fair.
He leaves behind six daughters, Lorie and husband Randy Tester, of the home, in Elizabethton, Tenn., Connie Woods of Florida, Tina Woods of Elizabethton, Tenn., Wendy Tucker of Johnson City, Tenn., Michelle Stephen and husband Tim of Kennett Square, Pa., Sarah Burguess and husband Matt of Quarryville, Pa.; a son, Micheal Stanton and wife Deana of Oxford, Pa.; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Stanton of Mountain City, Tenn.; two sisters, Madge Taylor of Mountain City, Tenn., and Mary Alice of Kingsport, Tenn.; and two ex-wives, Diana Stanton and Shirley Rupard.
