Cyclones fall, 3-2, at Dobyns-Bennett

It was a super slow night at the plate for both teams as the Elizabethton Cyclones made the trip to Dobyns-Bennett Monday.

The Cyclones would pick up two hits while the Indians had three in a contest that saw D-B inch out a 3-2 victory.

The Indians posted runs in the first and fifth innings to make it a 2-0 game. Elizabethton found home plate in the seventh inning as Cyclones Ethan Eggleston hit a line drive single to score teammate Matthew Dailey.

Elizabethton’s Evan Perkins would the Cyclones only other hit on the night.

The Cyclones worked through four pitchers with Tre Shoun, Corey Russell, Lawson Wagner, and Ryan Wetzel all getting a chance on the mound.
