First Free Will
A youth revival is in progress this weekend at First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Services this evening and Saturday will begin at 7 p.m. The speaker for this evening’s service is Hunter Greene, associate pastor at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church, Hampton, and a student at Milligan College.
The speaker for the Saturday evening service and the Sunday services is Richard Cole. Services Sunday begin at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited.
First Free Will is located at 706 First St. The Rev. Nathan Jennings is pastor.
Watauga Valley
The Golden Group at Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church will resume its monthly meetings Thursday, April 12, at 11 a.m.
The meeting will include singing, a Biblical message, and lunch.
All are invited. The Rev. Bill Greer is pastor.
The church is located on Highway 91 just above Unaka High School.
First United Methodist
The Rev. Raymond Amos, Sr., pastor, will present the message “The Great Power and Grace of the Resurrection” Sunday at morning worship at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. The message is based on scripture from Acts 4: 32-37.
The service begins at 9:55 a.m. Sunday School follows at 11:20 a.m.
The Junior High 4:12 Ministries Group will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the 4:12 Ministries House. The Senior High Group will meet Sunday from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m.
The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Coolager Hut.
The Wednesday evening service will be held at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.
First United Methodist is located at 325 E. E St. All are invited to attend.

First Christian
David Mills will be the worship leader for the morning worship service Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. The service will begin at 9:45 a.m.
The communion meditation will be given by Chad Perry and scripture will be read by David Mills. Frank Shepherd will have special music.
The message will be presented by Minister Michael Klaus.
Bible school classes will meet at 11 a.m.
The evening service is at 6 p.m., with Minister Klaus speaking. Janie Broyles will serve as song leader for the evening service.
The Ladies Bible Study, led by Paula Manning and Ashleigh McCloud, will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the Fidelis Classroom.
The Tuesday Morning Prayer Group led by John Smith will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Wednesday evening Bible study classes for all ages will be at 6 p.m., after which choir practice will be held.
Thursday, the youth will have activities in the fellowship hall from 4 to 8 p.m.

Sacred Journey will present a concert of gospel music Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Cove Creek Community Church.

Union Baptist
During the month of April, Union Baptist Church, Hampton, will host Super Tuesdays at 7 p.m. each Tuesday. The guest speaker April 10 will be Keith Tosh of Cookeville; April 17, the Rev. Ronnie Campbell, pastor of Beck Mountain Baptist Church; and April 24, Pastor Ray Green of North Carolina.
Union Baptist will also host the Association Children’s Bible Drill April 15 at 5 p.m.
Pastor Wesley Duncan invites the public to attend.
Chinquapin Grove
The 2018 Spring Evangelism Conference at Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church is scheduled April 11-14. Services will be held each evening at 6:30 with special music and preaching.
Dr. Jerry Chaddick will preach April 11; Pastor Mike Stone, April 12; Dr. D.L. Lowrie, April 13; and Dr. Ron Lynch, April 14.
The pastor, the Rev. Jamie Ferguson, invites the public to attend.
Redeemer Lutheran
“Doubting Thomas” will be the theme of the sermon for Sunday morning worship April 8 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 234 W. F St., Elizabethton.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
First Presbyterian
Dr. Brian Wyatt, pastor, will preach Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St. Morning worship will begin at 11 a.m.
An Education Hour for all ages will be held at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities for the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday; and yoga Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.
