I can only imagine the beauty the Rev. Billy Graham is now seeing and the love he is now feeling. Oddly a Christian movie based on what inspired the MercyMe song “I Can Only Imagine” about heaven was made into a movie to be released on March 16. The Rev. Billy Graham’s funeral on March 2 culminated more than a week of tributes to “America’s Pastor.”
The Rev. Franklin Graham delivered the eulogy, urging everyone to accept salvation through Jesus Christ. A spokesman for the Grahams said the family had long considered that Billy Graham’s funeral would be his “last crusade.” Graham had a purpose driven life and also a purpose driven death. His daughter Ann Graham Lotz said the day her father died the Jewish people remember Moses who they believe died within hours of the same date when Billy Graham died. Lotz said her father was like Moses and now that he has died Joshua (Jesus) will soon take Christians to the promised land (heaven). Lotz said, “I believe God is saying, ‘Wake up church! Wake up world! Jesus is coming!’”
Many like Lotz believe Graham’s death at 99 was prophetic. Just like the Aug. 21, 2017 eclipse was a bad prophetic sign for America. The last time a total eclipse crossed the U.S. was 99 years before on June 8, 1918 and 675,000 people died from a pandemic that year. The number 9 refers to judgement. Graham spoke about judgement as Psalm 37 says to. Graham said, “If God does not judge America, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.”
The Bible says it will be like the days of Noah just before the return of Jesus. Genesis 6:11, “the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” We are seeing this with the school shootings. It has long been thought by many students of Bible prophecy that Graham’s death might signal the nearness of the rapture and the coming judgment of the tribulation because of his role as the world’s most well-known and respected preacher in the last days.
Some like Steven Ben Noon at Israeli News Live have had dreams that the rapture will happen after Graham’s death. God places in the Bible types (parallels) which can be shadows of things to come. Joseph was one of the 12 sons of Jacob and is also a type of Jesus in over 100 different respects. Some believe Methuselah is a type of Billy Graham. Methuselah (oldest person) lived 969 years and died the same year as the flood of Noah. Billy Graham (oldest pastor) lived 99 years and dies the same year as the rapture and the beginning of the tribulation? The Jesus believing could soon be leaving. I’m not looking for the undertaker but the uppertaker (Jesus)!
