Before they hop on the bus and head to the state tournament, members of the Lady Rangers basketball team are inviting the community come out and celebrate with them tonight.

Unaka High School is hosting a special Meet the Lady Rangers event tonight at the high school for the girls basketball team. The community is invited to come out and wish the Lady Rangers good luck in the state basketball tournament. The event will take place from 6-7 p.m. in the gymnasium at the high school tonight, Monday, March 5.

The Lady Rangers will leave Unaka High School at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, to make the trip to Murfreesboro. Their first game of the tournament will see the Lady Rangers taking on Wartburg on Thursday at 10 a.m.

The community is also invited to come by the school Tuesday morning to take part in the send off for the team.
