Melissa “Pea” Murr, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center.
She was born in Johnson City on April 24, 1974.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 25 years, Tater Murr; daughters, Morgan Cole (Joshua) and Jordan Murr (Wesley); granddaughters, Addie, Annz, Rhea Rhea and Marley; her mother, Edna Whitson (Bud); her mother-in-law, Reta Harrison (Tim); sisters-in-law, Joey Murr and Kelly Norton (Jason); several nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Murr will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 8, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service. The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, February 9, at Sunrise Cemetery in Bluff City, Tenn. Pallbearers will be Joshua “Lugnut” Cole, Joe “Jerzey” Spray, Danny “Rebel” Anderson, Ron “TNCuzz” Cretsinger, Robert “Boston Rob” Morrisette and Benjamin “Blade” Webb.
