Bruce Allen Winters

Bruce Allen Winters, 63, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late William Bruce and Florence Edith Sims Winters.
Bruce attended Hampton High School. He had lived in Jefferson City for the past 20 years. Prior to his illness, he was employed at Hampton Auto Parts, was an over the road truck driver and retired from the Parts Department of Colbaugh Harley Davidson, Morristown. He was of the Baptist Faith. He loved to play his guitar and banjo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Winters.
Survivors include wife, Peggy Winters; siblings, Karen Hill and husband Raymond, Butler, Cathy Alford, Gray, and Wayne Winters and wife Debbie, Elizabethton; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; two special friends, Eugene Sharp and Daryll Newton; and his dog, Harley.
Funeral services for Bruce Allen Winters will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Raymond Hill officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. William “Bill” Anderson. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. It was his wish to be cremated.
