Dr. Tom Renfro, a practicing physician in Coeburn, Va., will be guest speaker for the morning worship service Sunday at Heartland Fellowship, 140 Minton Hollow Road.
Dr. Renfro, who is board certified in internal medicine, has an inspiring testimony to share. In 1996 he was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma, an incurable malignancy of the lymphatic system. The disease progressed to the point he became bedridden and was in multi-organ failure. His medical colleagues had no hope for his survival, but the doctor had a praying church.
In December 1997 God healed him and restored his health. He is a practicing physician today and declares his healing the work of the Lord.
Everyone is invited to the service, which begins at 10 a.m.
