Elizabethton senior Mary Beth Biggs keeps getting big recognition.
The Tennessee Sports Writer Association recently released its all-state volleyball teams, and in the mix was Biggs who shine on the court as libero for the Lady Cyclones.
A two-time Three Rivers Conference Defensive Specialist of Year, Biggs set the school record for most digs in a single season and most career digs. In 2017, Biggs recorded 1,072 digs while also picking up 54 aces.
Biggs has played a crucial role on a Lady Cyclones volleyball team that has made it to the TSSAA State Sectional Round two out of the past three years.
