The Covered Bridge Park will transform into a Christmas village this Saturday for a very special afternoon leading up to the Downtown Elizabethton Christmas Parade.

Join the Parks and Recreation Department at Covered Bridge Park from 2 until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, for this free community event. The park will feature a festive Christmas Village, Christmas music, games courtesy of the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library, free hot chocolate and cookies courtesy of the Carter County Drug Prevention Coalition and Santa on the stage making note of all the Christmas wishes! Pictures with Santa will be available for purchase thanks to Oliver’s Twist Photography.

Afterwards, guests can make their way downtown to watch the annual Elizabethton Christmas Parade which will follow this event.
