Susan Annette Crumley Rosenbalm

Susan Annette Crumley Rosenbalm, 62, of Watauga, Tenn., passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, at NHC Healthcare, Johnson City, following a brief illness. A native of Washington County, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Jack and Velsie Connor Crumley.
Mrs. Rosenbalm had been employed as a machine operator with Magnavox in Greeneville and had also worked as a caregiver. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Watauga. She enjoyed making crafts, cooking, shopping, going to flea markets and the beach. She also enjoyed her dogs, Mazzi and Sprout.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris McAmis.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Chris Rosenbalm, of the home; two brothers, Thomas Crumley and wife Edna and Larry Crumley and wife Johnnie, all of Johnson City; a sister, Carolyn McNeil and husband Jerry, Johnson City; a nephew, Marc McAmis and wife Beth, Elizabethton; three nieces, Tami Crumley, Hazlet, N.J., Teri Crumley, Augusta, Ga., and Tomi Crumley Black and husband Tyson, Concord, N.C.; a great-nephew, Matthew McAmis; and a brother-in-law, Sam McAmis, Watauga. Special friends, Nancy and Larry Davis, and several cousins also survive.
A service to honor the life of Susan Annette Crumley Rosenbalm will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Dr. Kenneth Jordan and Dr. Paul Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the funeral service, or at the residence of Tom and Edna Crumley, 181 Jarrett Buck Loop, Johnson City, Tenn., at other times. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 12, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Thursday for the graveside service. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Fairview Baptist Church Building Fund, 585 Watauga Road, Watauga, TN 37694.
