Bill James Roberson, 79, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away suddenly on June 24, 2017. Born in Elizabethton, Tenn., he was the son of the late Helen Keener Roberson and Jessie L. Roberson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Lowe, and brother, Joseph “ Bud” Roberson.
Those left to cherish his memory include wife, Connie Roberson; five daughters, Dr. Dawn Roberson, Donna (Linnie) Meyering, Dee (John) Huskisson, Susan (Michael) Neri and Jill (Curtis) Beauregard; brother, Charles (Judy) Roberson; and four sisters, Carolyn (Tony) Jones, Ruth (Louis) McDaniel, Barbara (Lee) Miller and Elaine (Paul) Mottern.
A service to honor life will be held at Lynn Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethton, Tenn., on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dennis Wilson officiating.
