Loretta E. Morgan, 40, of Elizabethton, went home to rest on Monday, July 10, 2017, from the Johnson City Medical Center. Loretta was born in Duncan, Okla.
Loretta had worked as a waitress and a cook. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Chelsie Malone and her friend, Colton Mittenz, of Elizabethton; her fiancé, Brad Reece, of Elizabethton; her mother and father, Tim and Anita Goodwin, of Bluff City; two sisters, Tiffany Lomeli, of California, and Raven Goodwin, of Johnson City; two brothers, Crusell Goodwin, of Bluff City, and Ryan Morgan, of Idaho; her grandbabies, Achilles Cox, Royal Cox, Brayden Gidson and Isaiah Fields; and her special friends, Sharon Campbell and Miranda Freeman.
A service to celebrate the life of Loretta E. Morgan will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 13, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Bobby Burrow and Dr. James Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service. The family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors and staff of Johnson City Medical Center ICU Unit.
