Jimmy Edward Clawson, 55, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Jimmy was a native of Carter County. He was an Industrial Construction Worker and was of the Free Will Baptist Faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Ethelene Joines Clawson, December 26, 2002; a brother, David Clawson; and his grandmother, Ruby Joines.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Geisler Clawson; his daughters, Nikki Bates and Briana McManus; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Sierra and Raven Richardson; his father, D.L. Clawson; a sister, Faye Stevens; and a brother, Sam Clawson.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
